SHAWN HOLMES is a writer, director, producer, and creative. His debut feature film was MEMORY LANE. After failing to raise proper financing, HOLMES produced the film anyway with a budget of less than $300US. Upon completion, MEMORY LANE was released online for one weekend only. A staggeringly successful viral marketing campaign resulted in MEMORY LANE receiving more than 22,000 hits in less than 48 hours and HOLMES being named the youngest nominee in history for the West Virginia Filmmaker of the Year Award. MEMORY LANE world-premiered at Sci-Fi London and screened in Cannes, Berlin, and at Razor Reel. It has received several awards including Best Action Thriller and a Best Director for HOLMES from the American Independent Film Festival. 

MEMORY LANE was released in the UK and Ireland on March 10th and Australia and New Zealand on April 16th through MONSTER PICTURES. MEMORY LANE will be released in the US and Canada in November. Currently, HOLMES is seeking representation and has numerous projects in various stages of development.
